Jharkhand Police Constable & SI 2026: Physical Standards & Selection

Eligibility
Constable requires Matric (10th pass); Sub-Inspector (Daroga) requires a Bachelor's degree. General category age is usually 18–25 years with category relaxations.
Selection process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — running, and where applicable long/high jump.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) — height and chest measurement.
- Written Exam (OMR) for shortlisted candidates.
- Medical Examination.
Preparation
Start daily running and endurance training early — physical tests eliminate most candidates. Keep documents and domicile/caste certificates ready. Track the official notification at jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.
