Bihar–IOCL MoU: पटना के प्रमुख सरकारी परिसरों में 10 फास्ट EV चार्जिंग स्टेशन लगेंगे
The Transport Department of Bihar has signed an MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to install fast electric-vehicle (EV) charging stations at 10 major government locations in Patna. Reported on September 11, 2026, the first-phase sites include the Secretariat (old), Legislative Assembly, Patna Collectorate, Visvesvaraya Bhawan, Vikas Bhawan, Sichai Bhawan, the city’s multi-modal hub and multi-level car parking, Beur Mor and Harding Road. The facilities are intended for public use and will strengthen EV infrastructure in the state capital.

बिहार परिवहन विभाग ने इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (IOCL) के साथ समझौता किया है जिसके तहत पटना के 10 प्रमुख सरकारी परिसरों में फास्ट ईवी चार्जिंग स्टेशन लगाए जाएंगे। 11 सितंबर 2026 को प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट के अनुसार प्रथम चरण में पुराने सचिवालय, विधान सभा, पटना कलेक्ट्रेट, विश्वेश्वरैया भवन, विकास भवन, सिंचाई भवन, मल्टी-मॉडल हब, मल्टी-लेवल कार पार्किंग, बेउर मोड़ और हार्डिंग रोड जैसी जगहों पर स्टेशन स्थापित होंगे। ये सुविधाएं आमजन के लिए भी उपलब्ध होंगी और राज्य राजधानी में ईवी अवसंरचना को सुदृढ़ करेंगी।
