बिहार: 6 जिलों में नए बालू घाट शुरू करने की तैयारी; 452 लंबित घाटों की होगी नीलामी

The Mines & Geology Department has initiated steps to boost sand availability by identifying new sand ghats in six districts—Bhojpur, Arwal, Aurangabad, Patna, Gaya and Jamui—and by expediting the settlement (auction) of pending sites. As per department information, 466 yellow‑sand and 541 white‑sand ghats have been identified across the state, of which about 452 remain to be auctioned. District Magistrates have been instructed to speed up the process so construction activity is not affected.
