झारखंड: सरकारी कॉलेजों में हेल्थ यूनिट; बजट का 2% अनिवार्य
On 27 October 2026, the Jharkhand Cabinet approved creation of ‘health and well-being units’ in all state-run universities and colleges. The units will provide first aid, emergency support and mental-health counselling on campus. Institutions must earmark 2% of their annual budget for this initiative, and digital health IDs will be created for students. The Cabinet also cleared internship opportunities for government polytechnic students at Government Tool Rooms in Ranchi, Dumka and Ramgarh to strengthen hands-on training.

27 अक्टूबर 2026 को झारखंड मंत्रिपरिषद ने सभी सरकारी विश्वविद्यालयों व कॉलेजों में ‘हेल्थ एंड वेल‑बीइंग यूनिट’ स्थापित करने को मंजूरी दी। ये यूनिट कैंपस में प्राथमिक उपचार, आपात सहायता और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य परामर्श उपलब्ध कराएंगी। संस्थानों को अपने वार्षिक बजट का 2% इस मद में रखना होगा और छात्रों के लिए डिजिटल हेल्थ आईडी बनाई जाएगी। साथ ही, सरकारी पॉलिटेक्निक विद्यार्थियों के लिए रांची, दुमका और रामगढ़ स्थित गवर्नमेंट टूल रूम्स में इंटर्नशिप की व्यवस्था भी स्वीकृत हुई।
