The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi has formally launched new Post Graduate Diploma Programmes (PGDP) for the 2026–27 academic session. At an orientation held on October 30, 2026, Vice‑Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil welcomed the inaugural batch and outlined the academic structure, schedules and expected learning outcomes. The university said the one‑year diplomas aim to strengthen advanced legal knowledge and practical skills for graduates and working professionals. As of October 30, NUSRL reported 49 admissions (27 offline, 22 online). Three specialisations have been opened this year.

(डॉ.) अशोक आर. पाटिल ने प्रथम बैच का स्वागत करते हुए पाठ्य संरचना, समय-सारिणी और अपेक्षित अधिगम परिणाम बताए। विश्वविद्यालय ने बताया कि एक-वर्षीय डिप्लोमा कार्यक्रम स्नातकों और कार्यरत पेशेवरों के उन्नत कानूनी ज्ञान व व्यावहारिक कौशल को सुदृढ़ करने के उद्देश्य से शुरू किए गए हैं। 30 अक्टूबर तक 49 अभ्यर्थियों (27 ऑफलाइन, 22 ऑनलाइन) ने प्रवेश लिया है। इस वर्ष तीन विशेषताओं में नामांकन हो रहा है।
